• RED FLAG WARNING - The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the upcoming weekend, forecasting weather conditions that represent an extreme risk for the spread of wildfires. The County-wide BURN BAN remains in effect. All outdoor burning is prohibited with or without a permit. Report any outdoor burning to 9-1-1, and Dixon VFD will respond.

• Kindergarten Registration - Calling all kindergarteners!  Dixon Elementary is accepting registration for the 2025-2026 school year. Please come by to pick one up. Or fill it out here on site!  We can’t wait to meet you.

  Saturday STEAM - with Dr Steve and Richard. Family fun with robots, microscopes and 3d printing. Anyone interested in getting to know the 3D printers are welcome to stop in. 10:00 to Noon at Embudo Valley Library. 

  The Caterpillar Club - Join us for FUN family literacy! Designed for children 0-5 and their caregivers. Every Wednesday from 10:30 to Noon. See you at the library!
