Fire weather watch through the weekend: The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for northern New Mexico with forecast unseasonably warm temperatures, single-digit relative humidity, strong westerly winds, and unstable atmospheric conditions - all contributing to severe risk for wildfire spread. The Rio Arriba County-wide Burn Ban is still in effect. No outdoor burning allowed with or without a permit. Report any outdoor burning to 911 and Dixon VFD will respond.

Robotics, 3D printing, microscopes, and more!CPR Class: Dixon VFD/EMS will hold a CPR/AED class (American Heart Association BLS Provider level) on Sunday, April 27th at 1:00 at Dixon VFD Station 1 (183A NM State Road 75). BLS Provider certification is required for most healthcare providers, educators, and those who deal regularly with the public. The class is free (requesting a $7 donation to cover the cost of the AHA CPR card). Class lasts 3 - 4 hours. To reserve a place, email [email protected] or text 505-692-4673.
