  • Children's Program at the Embudo Valley Library this Sunday, April 7th: Storytime Yoga, Sound Bath and Art Activities for children and families from 1:00 to 2:30.

  • The BLM reminds people that cutting fire wood (including standing dead) on BLM lands is currently not permitted.  The BLM has discovered trees that have recently been cut down in a canyon on BLM land north of town accessible by UTVs.  BLM enforces the law and will fine poachers who are caught.  Permits for cutting fuelwood in the Copper Hill area are currently available, and dead/down permits for the district will be available on May 1st.  Fuelwood permits cost $5-$12 per cord and are available on-line.  More information here.
