  • Christmas Eve Farolito lighting in Dixon. 

  • The Fletcher & John Trio will be playing at the Taos Inn tomorrow (Saturday), 6-9.

  • La Mesa Farm School Solstice Faire today (Friday), 3-6 at the Carnelian Center: a Solstice-themed puppet show, tables for holiday wreath, candle and edible ornament making, hot local apple cider, homemade soups, a silent auction and more! Tickets at the Dixon Market: $20, children 12 & under free. Celebrate the season and support a local, land-based, alternative micro-school!

  •  Christmas Light Parade update: If you want to be in the parade, there is no registration nor entry fee required. Just show up at Arroyo de la Mina (first arroyo when entering Dixon from the west) between 5 & 5:30 Saturday. The parade will begin promptly at 6:00.

  • The application deadline for the Caterpillar Club Coordinator position at Embudo Valley Library has been extended until Friday, January 10th because of the holidays. Details here. Please call the Library with any questions -- 505-579-9181.

  • Join the Carnelian Center crowd to walk for peace in the Dixon Light Parade. Bring an electric candle or a candle with wind protection and meet us at the Parade starting point this Saturday the 21st at 6:00. Songs welcome. Call 505-803-1476 with any questions.
