• Embudo Valley Library and Community Center will have a second informational meeting tomorrow (Saturday) at 3:00 in the Library.  Agenda items will be current and proposed bylaws, voting at the annual meeting, and community input/discussion.  Current & proposed bylaws can be accessed here.  Please do join us for an informal gathering to share your perspective and reflection on our Library, past, present, and future.

• The Special Annual Meeting of the Embudo Valley Library and Community Center will take place on Friday, January 31st at 6:00 at the Library.  Proposed changes to the bylaws will be will be posted prior to the meeting and voted on at the meeting.  Election of board members will also occur at the meeting.  (Preliminary ballot here).  Anyone interested in running for the board should submit a one-page letter of application (bio) providing relevant background, why they support the Library and its programs, and what skills or value they would provide if elected to the board.  Submit bios to the Library before the close of business Tuesday, January 28th to enable the ballots to be prepared.  You may also e-mail your resume/bio to [email protected].  Only persons who have submitted their letter of application ahead of time will be on the ballot.
