  • St. Anthony's Dixon Religious Education Classes:  Sunday, September 15th St. Anthony's Religious Education Parent Meeting and class for 1st thru 3rd grade students at 9:00 in the St. Anthony's Parish Hall.  We'll start with registration, then meeting and class.  We are still looking for a 4th/5th/6th grade Volunteer Religious Education Teacher and a Confirmation Teacher.  Please contact Esther Romero at [email protected] or the Parish for more information.

  • Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project (MPPP) invites the public to join in its anniversary events celebrating 25 years as a non-profit organization protecting a place.  There will be a symposium at Northern New Mexico College Center for Fine Arts on Friday & Saturday, September 13th-14th.  For more information and to register, visit the MPPP website.

  • One Straw Farm produce is available Fridays by ordering online.  Place your order here by noon on Friday and pick up after 4:00.  Currently offering tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, chard, kale, lettuces, salad greens, chicory, garlic, herbs and powdersAlso, green chiles!

  • Join us to take your picture with Henry's 200 pound Magic Pumpkin that he grew.  Tomorrow, Saturday at the Dixon Market's parking lot between 11:00 and 1:00.  Afterwards, Henry will be carving pieces to give out so you can take them home and create your favorite Pumpkin recipes.  There is also a 140 lb. pumpkin that may be available to carve out a jack-o-lantern or something fanciful.  We will need strong bodies to lift it out of the truck.  Oh, and bring something in which to carry home your piece of the pumpkin.  --Aya
