• Limpia season in the Embudo Valley brings to mind a video, "Acequia", made for KNME Colores a while back, with locals Stan Crawford and Estevan Arellano, both now deceased.  Historical, but still very relevant today.  It documents the acequia tradition and the continuing importance of acequias to the culture. people, and land of Northern New Mexico.  You can view it here.
