Join Ben Wright on KLDK 96.5FM for his show “Primordial Soup: A Worldwide Evolution of Sound into Music” most Tuesdays from 7 to 9pm. This week, we will be exploring ethnomusicologist Deben Bhattacharya’s collections as he recorded his way across Greece, Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and finally India.
DAPS needs silent auction donations: On Saturday, April 20th Black Mesa Winery and Cidery will host a fundraising event for DAPS which will include a silent auction. Please read more here.
Local author Cedar Koons will read from Book 2 of the Sheriff Ulysses Walker mystery series, A Thirst For Murder, on Thursday, March 21st at 6:30 at the Embudo Valley Library. Come enjoy a fun book reading/signing and see your friends! More here.
I'd like to collect cut willows. If anyone has a surplus on their acequia banks that they would like to have hauled away, please text or leave a voice mail for Nina, 505-220-7389.
