Fresh and dried herbs for your Thanksgiving feast grown by the Dixon Rattlers! We also have herb infused vinegars - great for marinades or salad dressings. We’ll be at the picnic tables by the Dixon Co-op today (Monday) from 3:30ish-4:30 or until we run out. Parsley, dill, oregano, sage, cilantro and thyme. Free packet of marigold seeds with every purchase. Thanks for supporting the Dixon Elementary Gardening Project.
Stone Soup! at the Carnelian Center, Friday, November 28th from 4 to 6. All are welcome!
Help fill the freezers of two local families in need with nourishing grass fed beef provided by local women owned and operated Sol Ranch. You can get more information and donate here.
Deadline today: The Embudo Valley Library has an opening for a part-time Librarian. We will receive applications through Monday, November 24th. Please send a resume, letter of interest, and references to [email protected]. If you prefer you can fill out an application at the Library in person.
Chris West from the Apodaca figure drawing group will be offering a short course on the basics of drawing the figure. He hopes to put this together to begin in the first part of January. If you have ever thought of drawing but have been hesitant for some reason this might be a chance to see if it is something for you. It will probably be a once a week meeting on Saturday for five weeks and the fee will be $25 per three hour session. Please contact me at [email protected] for more info.
Public notice: Dixon Volunteer Fire Department & Emergency Medical Services will hold a Monthly Team Meeting on Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:00 at Dixon VFD Station 1 (183 NM-75) and online via Microsoft Teams. Policy and financial issues will be discussed and acted upon. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or online. An Agenda that will include the online link will be available 72 hours before the meeting here.
