Chess at the Embudo Valley Library is now over for the season, but he Library does keep a chess board set up inside to be enjoyed by everyone.

  • Embudo Valley Library and Community Center Regular Board Meeting this Thursday, October 30th at 5:00.  The agenda may be found here

  • The Carnelian Center is accepting submissions of Youth Art to display during Dixon Studio Tour November 1st and 2nd. Children/youth are also invited to sell their original art at the Carnelian Center during Studio Tour. Please contact 505-718-1260 or [email protected] if interested.

  • Attention Mission Building Dixon Studio Tour vendors: The Mission Building will be open Friday starting at 10:00 for setting up your exhibit.  Fees are $70 inside, $65 outside.  It’s going to be a great weekend!  For more information contact [email protected].

  • Public notice: Dixon Volunteer Fire Department & Emergency Medical Services will hold a Monthly Team Meeting on Wednesday, November 5th at 7:00 at Dixon VFD Station 1 (183 NM-75) and online via Microsoft Teams.  Policy and financial issues will be discussed and acted upon.  Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or online.  An Agenda that will include the online link will be available 72 hours before the meeting here.

  • The Dixon Studio Tour is happening this coming weekend, November 1st & 2nd. More than 70 residents and neighbors are participating this year, spread across Dixon, Embudo, Rinconada, Cañoncito, Apodaca, and Cuestacitas. Come on out to enjoy neighbors' creative efforts, and savor food, wine and more made by community members. Printed maps available Saturday and Sunday at the Embudo Library Community Center (behind the Co-op) and at local restaurants, wineries, galleries, nonprofits, and more.  More information here: dixonarts.org.
