6:00-? - NM-75 will be closed for the parade. With 20+ entries, it could be as much as an hour. Plan accordingly!

Schedule of events around the Dixon Christmas Light Parade:

»»2:00-8:00: Food truck in front of La Segunda Thrift Store.

»»3:00: Free outdoor concert by local singers Los Madrigales - early music, with a focus on the Christmas season, at the Carnelian Center.

»»4:15 (approximately): Community caroling by the fire in front of the Carnelian Center, with light refreshments and community potluck meal.

»»6:00: Christmas Light Parade from Arroyo de la Mina to the Dixon Elementary School - more than twenty floats expected.

»»After the parade: Santa Claus will be distributing bags with goodies for the children and hot chocolate will be served in front of the Library. More caroling by the Carnelian Center fire.

>6:00-9:00 - The Fletcher & John Trio at the Taos Inn.

  • La Segunda Secondhand Store will close today (Saturday) at 2:30 sharp so that volunteers can enjoy the festivities. The store will reopen on Friday, December 27th. Happy Holidays to all!

  • Embudo Presbyterian Church will be holding a Christmas Eve candlelight service Tuesday, December 24th at 6:00. We invite all to join us in celebrating the birth of the Christ Child.
