The Dixon Farmers Market has a new spot! We have been offered the parking lot at Zuly's Cafe on Tuesday mornings, one of their closed days. It will still be from 9:30-1:30 starting next week, July 8th. We will be welcoming back the vendors who started with us and as the season goes on, adding new vendors as their crops are ready. Vendor list and musicians will be posted as we get closer to Tuesday. Let's give it a whirl! --Market Team
You are warmly invited to attend a nondenominational mindfulness meditation circle facilitated by Cedar Koons, meditation teacher, retreat leader, and author of The Mindfulness Solution for Intense Emotions. The circle will be held at the Embudo Valley Library Community Center, beginning Wednesday, August 6th, from 6:30 to 7:30, and will continue throughout August, and possibly beyond. Please read this description for details on what to expect and how to participate. There is no charge, but donations are welcome.
From the New Mexico Acequia Association: Grant opportunities for projects to incentivize agricultural water conservation and resilience, and incentives to farmers and ranchers to hire interns. Information here.
Ojo Conejo Farm has items for sale and for free. Click here for the list.
Old ATV or UTV you’re not using? I buy mostly Yamaha and Honda units, running or not. Prefer from about 1988 through to about 2006, later fuel injected models considered if running, or any diesel UTV. Christopher in Ojo Sarco, [email protected] or text 505-710-7530.
