The Rio Arriba County-wide Burn Ban has been lifted for this weekend, March 21st-22nd. Outdoor burning will be allowed with a valid permit phoned in to Rio Arriba Central Dispatch (505-753-5555, option 7) 20 minutes before commencing the burn. All burning must be continuously attended with availability of an appropriate water source to control it as necessary. Report any unattended or out-of-control burning to 911 and Dixon VFD will respond.
Drawing Group 4: Bureau of Drawers - An exhibition of works from both Dixon drawing groups, tomorrow (Saturday), 2-6. Check out the local talent and come home with some affordable hard won beauty! Chat up 13 neighbor artists. Alluvial Project, 2219 NM 68 in Rinconada, just behind Embudo Valley Vineyards in the rear circle drive.
6th Annual Dixon VFD Aaron Griego Summer Youth Cadet Week, Monday-Friday, June 22nd-26th, 9-3 (drop-off and pick-up 8- 4). Breakfast and lunch provided. Ages 10-16 years. Enrollment capped at 15 cadets. Email [email protected] with “Cadet” on subject line.
