  • Burn Ban - The Rio Arriba County Fire Chief has declared an outdoor burn ban for this weekend, May 11th & 12th.  No outdoor burning will be permitted with or without a burn permit.  Report any outdoor burning to 911 and Dixon VFD will respond.

  • La Acequia de la Plaza de Dixon parciantes please read this.

  • Applications for the 2024 Dixon Studio Tour will open Wednesday, May 15th and run until the deadline, Saturday, June 15th.  Details here.

  • Caregiver needed for elder man.  Flexible hours.  Twenty hours a week for now.   $20 an hour.  Call 505-852-1793.

  • Seeking volunteers to tell stories (in any language) or read books on a weekday in June as a part of the Embudo Valley Library's Summer Reading and Free Lunch Program.  Contact [email protected] to join, even for just one day.
    -Also seeking donations of tea cups and saucers for our Children's Program.
    -Also seeking volunteers who would like to help out with our Wednesday Play Group.  Volunteers are needed with snack-time and with supervising use of a sensory swing.

  • Dixon Drama Camp Hollywood '24 is only 3 weeks away!!  We still have some room for all you Star-Struck Kids to bring your favorite movie characters onto the stage.  Lots of theater games, stage combat, creating scripts, developing characters, creating props and costumes to keep you busy from 10 to 3 Monday thru Friday, June 3rd-14th.  Contact Holly Haas at [email protected] to enroll or for information or click here.
