• Burn Ban - Memorial Day weekend:  Outdoor burning is prohibited in Rio Arriba County this Memorial Day weekend.  Fire weather conditions are unfavorable (low humidity, high temperatures, westerly winds, dry fire fuels).  Report any outdoor burning to 9-1-1 and Dixon VFD will respond.

• Children's Program at the Embudo Valley Library tomorrow, Sunday: Painting and Micaceous Pottery Kids Workshop with Isaiah Martinez, 1:00-2:30.  There will be an opportunity to fire the pottery.  For children and their families.

• Memorial Day weekend at Vivác Winery 

• Ojo Conejo Farm is hiring a farmhand for the 2024 season (May-November).  We are seeking an individual or couple with farm experience who wants to help with the daily care of animals, product delivery and preparation, and more.  We need folks with their own housing and transportation.  Compensation is $15/hour for about 20 hours a week.
