• Einar Kvaran, former Embudo resident, Embudo Valley Library librarian, “Pathetics” band member, and Dixon Players member, passed away in Arizona last month surrounded by family.  Click here for a few memories from those who knew him when he was our neighbor.

• Hantavirus discussion at Dixon VFD Station 1 Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00 - Hantavirus is back in the news.  Dr. Steve Jenison, who worked on the New Mexico 1993 hantavirus outbreak, will host an informal discussion of hantavirus.  We are now entering into hantavirus season in New Mexico.  Useful to know what the real risks are, and how to avoid them.  RSVP [email protected]
