• La Segunda is collecting coats, mittens, gloves and hats for kids in the Peñasco area.  We need sizes K through 12 with an emphasis on the younger kids who tend to lose their coats.  The older kids like hoodies more than coats we're told.  Bring your new and gently used coats into the store through the front door and tell the volunteer that you're donating to coats for kids.  We appreciate your donations, as always.

• I'm looking for a car that can get myself and my kids to school, do laundry, get groceries, and get to work.  It doesn't have to be in great condition.  I'm just in a bind right now.  I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero that the last owner put stop leak into and it destroyed the cooling system and head gaskets.
