Important voter information:
> Early voting continues this week. You can register to vote and vote on the same day at your County Clerk’s office, and there may be same-day registration and voting at some early voting sites. To register to vote, check on your registration status, request an absentee ballot, generate a personalized sample ballot, or find answers to many questions use the New Mexico voter information portal or visit your County Clerk's website: Rio Arriba | Taos.
> New Mexico League of Women Voters (LWVNM) has a General Election Voter Guide available here. It is a long document with information for all the races in the state, including candidate statements.Constitutional Amendments and Bond Issues on the New Mexico state ballot:
On your ballot you will find four proposed amendments to the State Constitution, and four bond issues to be voted upon. If you scroll down to page 57 in the LWVNM guide referenced above, you will find a guide to the amendments and bond issues, with pro and con arguments. In addition, the New Mexico Legislative Council Service has a complete guide to the amendments here (select '2024 July'), also with pro and con arguments.
This is a lot of information to process, but I hope that it helps with your vote on Election Day, or before.
