Embudo Valley Town Crier

Thursday, April 23rd

  • Stage 1 fire restrictions begin tomorrow, April 24th in the Carson National Forest.   Complete information here.

  • There is a loose black and white cow in the Arroyo Pino (Dixon Fire Station arroyo) area.   It has been wandering around off and on for sometime now. If it is yours, please get it and keep it contained! If you know who owns it, please let them know.

  • My Gmail got hacked.  If you get any links from me don't open them.  Mine was a 'special invitation to bid on contract' which looked convincing.  I changed my password and you should too if you looked at anything.  --Scott Aby

  • Home for sale in Dixon: You are invited to my open house this Saturday, April 25th from 12 to 3.  If you’d like to see the listing I can send you the link and directions, etc.  [email protected]

  • Repeating scam alert: Crooks are trying hack into your computer to get your personal information, credit cards, money, contacts - whatever they can get to enrich themselves at your expense.  Scammers can create e-mails that look like they are legitimate and from someone or a company that you know.  Never click on a link in an e-mail nor respond to one unless you are totally sure that it is safe.  Be careful of scam phone calls, too.  Use your common sense to keep yourself from grief!
