Dixon Animal Protection Society requests community support by nominating DAPS for a 'Local Hero' award at Petsense. Nomination form is here. The information you will need to complete the form is here. We could win a monetary award and would really appreciate the community’s support! The deadline for submissions is this Saturday, the 20th.
This is a friendly reminder that 'Dixon through the grapevine' is a local Facebook group where everyone can share posts. Feel free to post buy and sell, local events, lost and found pets, wanted to hire or for hire, local real estate, missing packages, local business ads, ride-sharing, photography, and video, or just reach out to fellow community members. When asking to join the group, just answer the required question, agree to the group rules, and you're ready to go. --Chynna
Seeking donations for Christmas Light Parade Raffle: Embudo Valley Neighborhood Watch Program (EVNWP) is once again hosting the Christmas Light Parade in Dixon on Saturday, December 19th. We are asking community members to donate new items for the raffle. The proceeds will be used to cover expenses for the Light Parade. If you are donating a prize, please contact Celso Archuleta at 505-927-5564, or email [email protected] so I can pick up your donation, include your phone number and physical address. We are a non-profit organization and can provide you with a letter for tax purposes. Thank you.
