Useful information for farmers and gardeners from the New Mexico Acequia Association. Click here.
La Segunda Thrift Store: 50% off all shoes. We are very grateful for all the donations provided to La Segunda from our wonderful community members, but we kindly ask that donations be clear of mouse droppings and garbage as we are receiving donations that are unsanitary. Items that are not usable or sellable should be discarded and disposed of properly and not donated. This would make going through donations a better situation for volunteers.
Have you wanted to learn how to play Pickleball? Now is a good time. The Picuris Pueblo has offered players 2 times to play in their gymnasium: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 10:30. Instructions will be available from this fun loving and friendly group. There could be play time in Dixon, also. All levels are welcome. Contact Gloria, 575-587-2583.
Aria Wooten has qualified for the USATF Region 10 Junior Olympics which will be held July 11th-14th at Legacy Stadium in Aurora, CO. Donations of any size will help Aria with expenses. Thank you for your support. You can make a donation through Venmo, or send a check for Aria to Carlos Maestas, PO Box 564, Dixon, NM 87527. Thank you for your support. --Peter Atencio.
Ojo Conejo Farm has two free roosters who are ready to go to a good home - they are each one year old. Contact Jen, [email protected] for more info!
