Fireworks Ban: Rio Arriba Board of County Commissioners has declared a Fireworks Ban (Resolution 2025-056) until further notice for certain classes of fireworks including: aerial fireworks; Roman candles; stick-type rockets; chasers; self-propelling fireworks. Fireworks still allowed include: ground & hand-held sparklers; cone fountains; crackling devices; cylindrical fountains; glitter sparklers; ground spinners; illuminating torches; wheels. Please observe this ban while we enter the height of the wildfire season during a period of sustained drought.
Open Mic at the Toolshed this Saturday, June 28th, 7:00 with Cornman, Doc and Will. Musicians, songwriters, poets and performers welcome. Come out and see the talent in the community! No alcohol served.
Public notice: The Acequia del Bosque Commissioners and Mayordomo will meet on Monday, June 30th at 6:30. The agenda will include updates on finances, presa work, fines, and horas. If interested in attending, or more information, call Bryan Wehrli at 505-401-9167.
