The Embudo Valley Library & Community Center Anti-racism, Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ARJEDI) Committee welcomes you to participate in our potluck meeting & facilitated discussion of the first 4 chapters of Resmaa Menakem's My Grandmother's Hands tomorrow, Friday, March 15th at 6:30 (third Friday of each month). St. Paddy's Day Carnivore Clatch Potluck is around the corner! Please stop by the Carnelian Center for a hearty carnivore meal on your way out to celebrate. Our main course will be corned beef. Feel free to bring a favorite meat, egg, or dairy dish if you would like. Show off your green! This Sunday, March 17th 4 to 6.
The Embudo Valley Regional Acequia Association (EVRAA) Directors Meeting next Tuesday, March 19th at 7:00 in the new Embudo Valley Community Center (behind the Dixon Co-op). Agenda and minutes of the January meeting are here. Members of the public interested in acequias in our community are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Acequia Culture Youth Leadership Institute, “Con Fuerza y Querencia”, is now accepting applications, which are due on Monday, April 8th. Learn more on the New Mexico Acequia Association website.
