• Embudo Valley Library and Community Center invites you to participate in this month's board meeting this Thursday, April 25th, at 6:30, at the Library or on Zoom.  Agenda and zoom link here.  We look forward to your participation.

• Learn Hands-Only CPR: Dixon VFD/EMS will hold a Hands-Only CPR class for members of the public on Thursday, April 25th at 2:00 at Dixon VFD Station 1.  If a person experiences cardiac arrest from a heart attack or other cause, the first 10 minutes are critical to whether they have a chance of surviving.  It is critical that someone can do CPR (chest compressions) until professional help arrives. • Our self serve chicken stand is now open at the former Dominguez General Store in Chamisal (20 Plaza Road).  Our chickens are well cared for and fed USDA organic feed.  $4 per dozen. 

• Paid apprenticeship and caregiving for elder in Dixon available through NM Medicaid.  $14.60/hourly for up to 20 hours/week.  Learn sustainable organic gardening, cooking & preservation of fresh organic food, non-toxic cleaning and ordering of home, fiber and textile arts - while helping an older woman with her daily activities.  Text or call Nancy, 719-849-3239.
