>1:00-5:30 - Walk-in Community Clinic at the Carnelian Center: Acupuncture and Craniosacral with Dr Elie Klein and Jenny Rizzo.  $40-80 Sliding scale. 
>6:00-6:45: Qigong with Dr. Elie at the Center and on Zoom.  Sliding scale 0-$20.
>6:00 - AA in Dixon meeting at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall (adjacent to the kitchen building).
>6:30 - The Farming Working Group of the Embudo Valley Regional Acequia Association meeting, 6:30 at the Library Community Center.  All are welcome.  Agenda

  • Parciantes of the Acequia Del Llano: As of Wednesday, July 16th we will start rationing ditch use to Thursday-Saturdays for the lower (below the fire station) part of the acequia and Sunday through Tuesdays for the upper (above fire station).  You will be allowed to use it for two hours.  If you need it longer please let the Mayordomo, Joseluis, know by text or phone: 575-779-1258.

  • Recuerdos Resurrected, A 26-year retrospective of paintings by Dixon artist Jim Vogel, July 19-September 7th.  Opening reception this Saturday, July 19th, 1-3.  Taos Art Museum’s Fechin Studio, 227 Paseo del Pueblo Norte,  Taos, 575-758-2690

  • News and a request from Nuevo Mexico Profundo, including two tickets available for the Ranchos de Taos trip on Saturday, July 26th.

  • Branch chipping: Dixon Volunteer Fire Department, in partnership with Baby Gorilla Tree Service, and made possible by a grant from the New Mexico Association of Counties, is offering free community chipping to help residents reduce wildfire risk.  We’ll chip orderly piles of branches, keeping your property safer without the need for burning.  Priority given to low-income, elderly, and fire-risk properties.  Sign up today using our online form.  Chipping dates to come.  Learn more about this program and how to structure your brush piles here.   Questions?
