Today:
> 7:00-7:00 - Primary Election Day. Rio Arriba voters can vote at any Voter Convenience Center in the county. Taos County voters go to their regular precincts.
> 9:30-10:30 - Yoga with Kristin at the Toolshed. Class information here.
> 11:30-12:30 - Free lunch and story time for children, with Leigh Saunders at the Embudo Valley Library.
> 6:00 - AA in Dixon meeting at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall (adjacent to the kitchen building).
Limited free tickets for children and chaperones to attend La Traviata at the Santa Fe Opera on Monday, June 24th, courtesy of The Taos Opera Guild. The Embudo Valley Library is taking reservations, please call 505-579-9181 or email [email protected] to reserve seats. Recipients must ride the group bus to the opera. The bus leaves at 6:00 from the Embudo Clinic and returns at midnight. We need families to confirm by Monday, June 10th or we will give the seats to the waiting list of kids in Taos.
Reminder: Applications are due tomorrow, Wednesday June 5th for the Summer 2024 Acequia Youth Conservation Corps program - a 6-week paid internship opportunity in acequia and watershed restoration! More information here.
The Dixon Studio Tour is offering a day to come fill out your application and get your questions answered about being on the 2024 Tour. There will be an expert on hand to walk you through and get it done before you leave! Bring your laptop, access to digital files of your work, and your checkbook (there’s also a PayPal option). This Saturday, June 8th, 1-3 at the Embudo Valley Library.
New Applicants are also welcome to attend a brief orientation. Bring a few examples of your work, your contact info and questions.
