  • Mail-in ballots are due at the County Clerk's office by 7:00 p.m. on election day (June 2nd).  The mail seems to have gotten slower; if you're voting by mail, be sure to mail your ballot early or hand deliver it to the Clerk's office, otherwise it won't get counted.

  • Reminder: Rio Arriba County Sheriff Candidate Forum tomorrow (Wednesday), 6:00 in the Embudo Valley Library Community Center.

  • Dixon musician/songwriter Boris McCutcheon and the Salt Licks (Susan Holmes, Sergio Webb, Chris McGandy and Greg Williams) will be performing at Vivác winery this coming Saturday, May 30th, 5 to 7.

  • Traditional Nuevo Mexicano Baile at the Peñasco Theater, Tuesday, June 2nd, 7:00.  Featuring the amazing band 'Lone Piñon'.  Join us for some traditional New Mexico dances workshop and beautiful music!  Suggested donation: $10-20. 

  • Enrollment for school year 26-27 is open at Dixon Elementary.  Welcoming students from Kindergarten through 6th grade.  Come visit and complete a registration packet.  Call 505-579-4325 or stop by the school Monday-Friday, 8:00-3:00.
