Requesting donations for the Dixon VFD Pancake Breakfast Raffle - Pancake Breakfast is Sunday morning, May 17th, at Mission Embudo. Each year, a high percentage of our proceeds come from the Raffle. Soothing Restorative Yoga next Sunday, May 10th, 4:00-5:30 at the Carnelian Center. An opportunity for deep rest. Gentle, relaxing poses. This is a precious way to celebrate Mother's Day - an opportunity to calm the body and quiet the mind. For all mothers out there who do so much (including dog/cat moms), this is a cherished way to feel nourished from within. Four spots available / $20. Sign Up Now for DVFD’s Late Spring Chipping Weekend, May 29th – 31st. The Dixon Volunteer Fire Department, in partnership with Baby Gorilla Tree Service and the International Association of Fire Chiefs, is offering free community chipping to community members reduce fire risk. We’ll be chipping brush across the district Friday–Sunday, May 29th–31st. This service helps reduce burn piles and keeps your property safer.
