• John 'Scott' Richardson, age 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep early Sunday morning, December 7th.  A pioneer of Detroit Rock and Roll, Scott lived in Dixon for the past several years, rooming with his long-time friend Ron Richardson (no relation).  Scott was a member of the local music group ‘Love Sender’, and was a substitute teacher at Dixon Elementary, where he was known as ‘Mr. John’.
