  • Dixon Volunteer Fire Department Fourth of July party - Thursday, noon-4:00, DVFD Station 1, 183 NM-75.

  • Organic hand picked fruit:  Apricots galore!  Cherries - several varieties.  Berghofer Orchard fruit stand, 2242 Hwy 68, Rinconada.  Opens at 10:00.

  • Dixon’s own Kombucha Marimba will be playing music from 12 to 1 at the Dixon Volunteer Fire Department 4th of July party.  Come join us!

  • Information from the U.S Forest Service: In New Mexico, July usually marks the beginning of monsoon season, and with monsoons comes lightning, but not always rain.  As Fourth of July approaches, remember fireworks are always illegal on federal lands in New Mexico no matter what day of the year.  Let’s work together to prevent unwanted human-caused fires for the month of July!  This month’s “Wildfire Preparedness Is Year-Round” Message is “Celebrate with One Less Spark!”
