• Two locals to read in Taos: Ed Brown of Embudo and Tim Raphael of Dixon will read from their nature writings on Wednesday, November 13th, 6:00 at SOMOS (Society of the Muse of the Southwest), 108 Civic Plaza Drive (left at the next light after the plaza).  November is Prose Month at SOMOS - here is the full schedule. 

• Public notice: Dixon Volunteer Fire Department & Emergency Medical Services will hold a Monthly Team Meeting on Wednesday, November 6th at 7:00 at Dixon VFD Station 1 (183 NM-75) and online via Microsoft Teams.  Policy and financial issues will be discussed and acted upon.  An Agenda with the Microsoft Teams link will be published here 72 hours prior to the meeting.  Members of the public are welcome to attend in person or online.
