DAPS needs driver today: DAPS has puppies transferring to Colorado through Stray Hearts in Taos today, Wednesday. Puppies need to arrive at Stray Hearts between 9:15 and 9:30. Is there anyone in Dixon available to pick them up at my house around 8:30 and drop them at the Shelter? I have a conflict. You’ll need to leave extra time due construction on NM-68, or go the highroad. Call or text 505-699-0334. —Judy
Trying to locate a missing Yamaha speaker: Two Yamaha powered speakers (8"x10"x7") have been on loan from me to the Embudo Valley Llibrary for a number of years. They were set up in the main room on the file cabinet and used for talks. Recently one of them went missing. I would really like to have it back. If this speaker inadvertently ended up among your things, I would appreciate you returning it to the Library. If you have information about it, please contact the Library at 505-579-9181. Thank you, Robert Templeton
